I have been asked to speak to the Maine Legislatures committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife next Monday. I think mostly because over time I became a fixture at their meetings. At the introductory sessions with the committee I always talked about the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation; hopefully to get them to see their role in this important and successful system.
All of the talk about artificial intelligence in the last few weeks has me baffled. First I must ask have none of these people ever used a GPS for directions?
Over the past year I have been taking stock of where Maine Outdoors is and what the near future might hold. First the big item (many of you ask about this); I intend to guide for at least the next five years and hopefully longer. My Registered Maine Guides license will renew next year for five years. My Coast Guard license renewed last winter for five more years.
