October is always a very busy month and while September provides great variety October is very much one thing. Yes I guide a few fishing trips usually early in the month and the rest is dedicated to chasing grouse and woodcock on upland bird hunts with the dogs.

Spectacular Day!

I was scheduled to work in the office today in anticipation of a very busy October and November. The day was nearly perfect though. Little wind, not a cloud (after the fog burned off in the morning) and some nice color on the trees.

Last week was very busy with fishing trips and a canoe trip thrown in for good measure. The days were exquisite with cool mornings, bright sunshine and perfect blue skies. Pictures tell the story far better than I could with only words.
