We got a couple of inches more snow last night. It came down quickly with little wind leaving everything coated with a layer of icing. Warm already today you can feel the sun getting stronger now, more winter to come I am sure hope that it is as pretty as this.

The latest snowstorm was a bit of a disappointment in that we only got about six inches of snow. It did not miss us by much though I heard from some friends further east and heard reports of a couple of feet of snow.  After the storm though we had a beautiful winter day, not too cold (high of 25) clear blue skies but quite windy.

I know we are forecast to get a snowstorm tomorrow and many to the south of us are getting it today. Still for me the Lund Alaskan headed in for its annual overhaul and tune-up is a sure sign that spring fishing is not far off. Today was one of those perfect winter days with a clear blue sky temperatures in the 20’s and no wind.
