Autumn is Here
The seasons are changing and we are headed to fall. The signs are all around the cardinal flowers are in full bloom along the river banks, red leaves here and there along the roads and a few flame red maples in the swamps.

As luck would have it my birthday falls in the middle of the busiest part of my summer season. Most years I spend the day guiding and hope to get out to supper in the evening. This year was no different I spent the day guiding and here is the report.
Freshwater fishing has turned the corner from the mid-summer doldrums and the bigger bass have begun to feed actively. My two most recent trips on Megunticok Lake in Camden produced very nice bass mostly largemouth but several nice smallmouth in the mix. Fishing for perch and sunfish with kids has been excellent and a lot of fun every time.
