This winter there is time in the schedule to offer a few ice fishing trips. These trips will take place on beautiful frozen local lakes, where participants can try their hand at catching a variety of fish such as bass, perch, crappie and pike.

This morning the sun rose as far to the south as it travels each year. The solstice and the end of  the year are just weeks away. The weather is as you would hope for December; cold with snow in the forecast. I am spending my time on the usual small business tasks for the end of the year and as part of that I have been catching up on the reviews from the last year.

I am proud to have Maine Outdoors signed on to the attached support letter for the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act.  The letter was sent to House and Senate leadership earlier this week and is making its way around the Capitol with 500+ signers. In addition to Maine Outdoors.
