So far September is a continuation of the wet summer we have had with a hurricane on the horizon. It rained enough overnight that when a raised the Lund off of the hitch on the 4 runner this morning. The bilge pump went on! Took me a minute to figure out what was going on. I was also surprised that the pump ran for several minutes even though the drain plug had been out since I left Thomaston Harbor late yesterday afternoon.

Today I had to drive to Augusta to be fingerprinted for a background check to renew my Maine Guides license.
