Today I was fishing with a couple from Texas, they vacation here every summer but up until now have stayed on the coast. Yes they had driven inland some but not really spent any time outdoors like they did today.

It happened last week while I was not even thinking about it my season changed and things will be different from now to the second week in August. The weather you ask? Where the fish are? The loon chicks hatched?

The forecast was less than promising for this morning the later it got the more likely rain was. This morning’s clients were not deterred, although they were delighted to hear that I had rain gear on board.
