Raining, blowing and chilly. No one wants to fish except a guide who has been on a couple dozen fishing trips in the last ten days. Not caught a single fish and watched others have all of the fun. Got right on 
the fish and caught a few this morning! Sort of glad that you were not here, but you did miss it. Same forecast for tomorrow if you were wondering.
No it is not the old days but still the striper fishing this summer has been very good in the Saint George River. My only complaint and it is not really a complaint is with the numbers of very small fish. When I say 
small I mean 10 to 12 inch a fish that size still gives a good showing on light tackle but I have expectations. It is fun to have good saltwater fishing as an offering this summer!
This week I am on a long series of family fishing trips. Parents and children, grandparents and grandkids a wide variety. Every trip is a treat and a fun time for the family and the guide! After a rainy day in the 
office I am back at it in the morning.
