It is Fall Foliage Season

Created on Mon Sep 26, 2011 by Don Kleiner

A reunion and wedding had me travelling in all of the New England states except Rhode Island over the weekend. For those of you wondering if it is time to visit to see the leaves change, the answer is yes. Even in southern Connecticut many trees are now showing color. Southern Vermont and New Hampshire have more color than we do here on the Maine coast at the moment but we are not far off from the peak fall display.

Everywhere I went the color change was clearly coming along nicely. If you are waiting for the perfect time, it is now! The next few weeks will be spectacular and a great time to get outdoors. May I suggest a little fall fishing? Or perhaps a nature exploration canoe trip?
