After the big rains on Thursday and Friday we are starting one of those stretches of beautiful fall weather. Cool, almost frosty, at night warm and sunny during the day. Today there is not a cloud in the sky and it is crystal blue. Fall foliage is at about its peak adding to the scene.
Yesterday my clients and I saw a big bull moose who cooperatively stood about fifty yards away while we all took pictures for maybe fifteen minutes. 
My October is about half spent with the dogs upland bird hunting but there are a variety of other trips spread through the month making a nice variety of activity to take advantage of the great weather. This coming week includes several fishing trips and even a couple of family fishing trips next weekend.
Needless to say I am enjoying October immensely.
