We are in the gray and dreary part of November; rainy wet weather is in the forecast for the next several days. On a gray overcast day it stays dark until nearly 7AM and is pretty dark by 4 PM making for short dreary days to be sure.
Luckily I have been working inside most of the week and in meetings a good part of the time. I think that mostly because I have been too busy to attend many meetings for several months they all seemed to pile into this week. Packages for next year (more on the results of those exciting discussions later), the Governor’s task force on Natural Resource Agencies, work on wildlife impacts of a development project, and presenting at a seminar for the local chamber of commerce have all gotten some of my time this week. In my spare moments I am puttering away at stacking firewood into the garage for the coming winter.
This is one of those weeks when I think of the folks who wonder how I keep myself occupied in the winter! Not a problem staying busy; the actual problem is finding a little time to work on some of the projects I have promised myself I would do this fall.
I have the images for prints from Downeast Drawings that I am eager to add to the online store. I have been trying to get the time to finish for more than a month now. Hopefully next week.
