Last family fishing trip for the season

Hard to believe that it is mid-October already, another season has flown by. This weekend was what I suspect will be the last family fishing trip of 2011. Fishing is not over for sure but families are much less likely to spend time on the water as the air gets cooler. I look forward to seeing this family each time; I’m not sure who has more fun on our trips.

The perch were still cooperative (on Sunday at least) and as you can see the bass fishing is holding up very well. The weather was not as cold as their October trip last year but still breezy. Unfortunately there is not an opening in my calendar for almost a month. Hope that the weather holds!
