Trying something new can be both exciting and intimidating. Luckily ice fishing is a winter hobby that can be enjoyed with a few pieces of equipment and there are nearly endless opportunities. For many outdoor enthusiasts, ice fishing is one of the favorite activities of the year. Not only can we fish for many different species, but we can create memories with friends and family, spend time outside, enjoy the day with a beauty that only winter can provide.
Where and When
Maine’s midcoast offers a variety of opportunities not far from Camden, Rockport, and Rockland.
For Pike fishing, we’ll start and end our trip at Seven Tree Pond in Union, for other species we may visit other hidden fishing spots known only to locals.
Maine Outdoors offers half day ice fishing trips between January 18 and March 1, 2025.

For full day trips, Don will include lunch at a quiet shoreside setting.
All of our trips begin and end at public boat launches. These launches have restrooms available. If you need to use the restroom during your trip, we can easily return to the starting point.
