That was fast!

Hard to believe that August is past and taken half of September with it. Leaves are very much starting to turn  color here and even though the weather has stayed warm you can tell that cooler days are just around the corner. I have simply too busy to post to this blog for a long stretch. Not that it was not on my list and my intentions were good. The steady guiding schedule kept me from having the time to write even a few paragraphs.

One of the few times since Maine Outdoors was a business demand for trips far exceeded the supply of openings. Most of the summer was reserved about 3 weeks ahead. Not what I hope for because I have always prided myself in being able to fit folks in. Not this season. From what I hear it has been the same across the outdoor recreation industry, notable here though.

On the upside there have been plenty of great events like fishing for the first time; catching a first fish or seeing an eagle or seal up close that have made the summer fly by. Pictures of a few of those are posted here. You can also read the thoughts of some of my clients by reading the reviews.

Fishing will continue for the next couple of months but at a slower pace and the annual trips to Libby Camps with the dogs start very soon. So for the moment the pace continues!
