Pretty Fall Days

My Octobers for the last seventeen years have been spent guiding grouse and woodcock hunters at Libby Camps. This October was spectacular in terms of weather and the foliage. One afternoon in particular was especially pretty and I have a very clear picture in my mind of the yellows of the sugar maples in the afternoon sun.

Here is a series of pictures taken by my client that day, sorry not the sugar maples I remember but some spectacular scenery and a nice snapshot of the day. Bets is the only dog in these photos but Nell played a big part too. I am planning to spend October here at home in the future on fishing trips definitely going to miss this.
