Even though I specialize in families and beginners I get to spend time outdoors with many who have lots of experience. Frequently they use a different technique or system than I do. Over the years I have learned (well mostly) to watch and see what they do that is better than the way I would approach a situation.
I have had the pleasure of fishing with a few from around the country already this summer and am pleased to say that I have learned a lot. A new way to rig and fish soft plastic bait, a different way to fish a surface bait and a few other tricks. Needless to say that even at this point in my career I am learning new stuff while meeting new clients.
All of this packaged in a beautiful setting with folks who are awed to see where I work every day. How lucky am I?
