I love this picture. Not because of the fish (although it is a very nice striper) but because of the sheer joy on my son’s face. Nicholas and I fish together each year for his birthday and father"s day. It is always a highlight of the summer for me.
His expreassion serves as a reminder that my role when we are together on any trip is to as much as possible put you in a place where something amazing happens. Sometimes it is a goal that seems simple like a first fish or seeing a loon, an eagle a seal or harbor porpoise,
All part of providing great outdoor experiences or creating outdoor memories like it says in my tag line. I know that I achieve the goal often because of the nice reviews that folks write. Makes me appreciate being a guide even more.
