Trips this weekend had me on a variety of locations on the Saint George River, this afternoon when I stopped to review last couple of days I realized that I had been over quite a bit of the watershed.

Warm summer weather is here for a while now and the days are filled with a good variety of trips some arranged far in advance but many only the day before (I can almost always fit someone else in).

I am truly fortunate to have clients that I see regularly, not necessarily each year but frequently. Some I get to spend time with every year and I really look forward to seeing them each time. Over the years we develop a close friendship that goes beyond just client guide.

We have already passed the longest day of the year and soon the daylight will be noticeably shorter. For now it is light here on the Maine coast at 4:30 AM and stays light until after 9 PM. Making for plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy the Maine Outdoors. I have been doing just that this week striper fishing, canoeing and a little freshwater fishing just to keep things interesting.
