Hard to believe that October starts tomorrow. Where did the season go? The picture alongside of this shows the weather we are having in the latest stretch. After a sort of dreary summer we are having a glorious fall.
It looks like the stripers will be headed south very soon which means that all of my trips from now until Thanksgiving or so will be on the freshwater. Not a step down by any measure. Tuesday afternoon my clients claimed that they boated over 30 fish in a three hour trip. Sorry I cannot verify I was far too busy to keep count. No matter what, it was a great few hours of fishing with bass, perch and pickerel coming on board.
Given the forecast for the next couple of weeks (lows in the 40's and highs in the 60's to around 70 and sunshine every day) I don't expect much change in the conditions or the pleasant times outdoors. There are aren't ant openings in my calendar next week and but there a re plenty as we head toward the end of October. I'd like to see each of you before I load the boat on the trailer the last time for 2023.
Come write or call to make your reservation or make one online here to enjoy some time on the water during the best season of the year!
Best regards,
