In today’s Bangor Daily News according to the most recent census, Maine is the most rural state. How do they figure this stuff out? Seems hard to imagine that we are more rural than say North Dakota or Montana but I digress. While many will lament our rural nature, as a working guide I am delighted.
This stretch of weather feels unnatural. Very warm and pleasant for March. The ice is gone from Seven Tree and Round Ponds. I arrived back at the office from Augusta to seventy degrees, no breeze and bright sunshine. Not a day for office work!
