It is fascinating how the universe presents related topics. I started my day discussing a difficult situation involving a now unlicensed and unethical guide. It was a stark reminder of how important professional integrity is to our profession and its public perception.

I admit to being lulled into a vision that the warm comfortable fall would last longer. Say until Christmas. Clearly mother nature had other ideas though. Last week Argy and I enjoyed a vacation that included Thanksgiving dinner with family in New Jersey and other stops around the region. Like the fall up to that point it was warm and pretty much dry. Only a jacket needed.

We all knew it would have to happen (it has been several years since I raised rates)  and here we are. Rates for Maine Outdoors trips will increase on January 1.
