After a very warm fall and early winter it felt like winter might never come. Over the last twenty four hours things changed. Six inches of new snow overnight and steadily falling temperatures today (down to 18 at
4PM) with plenty of Northwest wind to make sure we feel the chill.
After realizing that Maine Outdoors has been around for 30 years I have been giving some thought to a couple of lists. First are the best ways to celebrate that gives something back to the people and natural
resources that have made this long run possible. Second recalling all of the amazing memories and opportunities that happened along the way.
On the down side
As I am working through the year end items that face every small business I came across some of the first Maine Outdoors materials. The date on them was 1986 making the coming year the 30th anniversary 
of Maine Outdoors. Quite the milestone!
