Yankee magazine has an article on the Maine Guide in the current issue titled “Why the Maine Guide Still Matters”. It is a good story, yes I am quoted. As proof that I have been around for a long time the featured guides are all folks that I consider friends and have known for some time now. In addition to the article Yankee has posted a video that mostly features Lance Wheaton from Forest City someone who I consider to be a great friend.
The article is focused on what a guide can provide to those of you who live lives far removed from the outdoors every day. The knowledge and understanding that makes it possible to provide memorable experiences even under adverse conditions and be sure to point out the subtle things that make our environment so amazing. So take a look at the video and check out the latest Yankee magazine in print!

This will be my 6th summer coming to the
North Woods of Maine to stay at Bradford Camps and fly fish for brook trout. I have had the pleasure of fishing with old school Maine Guides Gary Courson &Dick Mosher, and with younger guides Igor Sikorsky and Pete Drummond. There is nothing else like that experience of being with someone who knows those beautiful woods and waters like the back of their hand. I plan on going back to fish and bird hunt with them annually, for the rest of my life.
