This week has been warm for February with little wind and mostly clear skies. I have enjoyed getting out on the ice for a little ice fishing. Not anything like casting a fly in the other months of the year it is still enjoyable and a great chance to get outside.
I have had a few guided ice fishing trips that provide young families a great chance to get out on the ice and even catch a few fish.
Argy and I have also enjoyed getting out on hikes this winter that give us a chance to see some of the variety our area has to offer. It is not all outdoor fun I took part in the Maine Tourism Associations two day board retreat and finished an online class about Maine forestry.
Along with that planning for the coming season is well underway and like always folks have started to make their summer reservations. Those conversations keep me thinking about the coming season and warmer days on the water. I know that you must be starting to think about summer as well.
Feel free to write or call to make your reservation for the coming season or make one online here to enjoy some time on the water for the coming season!
Best regards,
