I learned this week that the Bangor Savings Bank will be partnering with me in delivering my small business seminars for guides. The relationship is part of the banks commitment to work with the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine at the new SAM conference center in Augusta. I held two seminars at the center last winter and am working on the schedule for coming sessions this fall and next winter.
Quoting the SAM news this month: “Recognizing SAM’s desire to utilize it’s new conference center to foster partnerships with guides, sporting camps and others in the outdoor industry, Bangor Savings will offer it’s staff for special educational programs and seminars that serve the outdoor industry. The bank will have a direct presence in and association with the conference center as the sponsor of programming for micro and other businesses in the outdoor industry.
Don Kleiner, former Director if IF&W’s Information and Education Division and a Maine guide, will organize these seminars at SAM’s conference center. Kleiner’s seminars are well-regarded ion the outdoor community and his last two seminars were presented at SAM’s conference center. He is delighted to and Bangor Savings staff to his list of experts who make presentations at his seminars.”

I am excited by the possibilities that this new partnership offers to seminar participants and look forward to working with Bangor Savings Bank.
